Double Precision is a small, high-end custom engineering facility located in the center of Silicon Valley. Although business is good, the owner wanted to hone the customer base into one focused on the more profitable components of his business. A clean, well-designed Web site was key to starting this transition.
Extensive use was made of images; the products are cosmetic in the sense that they commonly appear on the exterior of the assemblies into which they are incorporated, and are natural subjects for both 'journalistic' and creative photography. In addition to appearing on the Web site, the photos are also used in a new generation of marketing material.
